For the reading and listening papers of the IELTS exam, you need to use a special answer sheet for your answers.
Below are links to examples from Cambridge Exams for you to download.
Example 1 Reading Example 2 Listening
Remember:
- you must use pencil to write your answers on the form
- write your answers in the boxes
- write your answers very carefully and clearly. If they cannot be read, they cannot be marked
- If you change an answer, erase the first one completely or put a clear line through it.
- make sure answer 1 goes into box 1, answer 2 into box 2, and so on. If you make a mistake at the beginning
you could lose all your marks
- make sure you put your personal information - name, date and candidate number - in the boxes at the top of
the answer sheet
- make sure your spelling is right. If it is not, your answer is wrong
- you get 10 minutes to transfer answers to the answer sheet only in the listening, not the reading paper
- no answer written on the question paper will be marked, so make sure you write all of yours on the answer sheet
- you don't lose marks for a wrong answer, so write something!
