It is important to practise answering different kinds of
questions, especially if you are taking the Academic
exam. Choose a variety of titles from the free
worksheets page.
Remember that the instructions are different for the
Academic and General Training exams, so it is a good
idea to keep a copy of the one you need and look at it
before you answer the question.

Don't forget to send us the title you did so we know
what question you are answering. You can tell us the
title or just the reference, for example Task 2
Academic Practice Question 3.
Remember that it is a good idea to do some writing
practice without thinking about the time, so you can
learn about how to answer, then do some timed
questions (20 minutes for task 1 and 40 minutes for
task 2).
What do I get back?

When you send us work we can correct it in two ways:

  • If you send us a scanned answer in your own writing then we send you a report like this:

  • If you send us an answer written in Word or another word-processing programme then we send you a report like this:

Remember that you must practise writing by hand when you are preparing for the exam. The best option is to send us a scan of your work in your own  
writing- but we charge more for this. The second best thing is to write your answer by hand, and then copy it into Word. If you send us work you have
written on a computer, do other practice by hand also.
